I hope everyone has a great valentines day! I made this canvas print for our room. It reflects "I Love Lucy" (one of my all time favorites) and was made with my silhouette cameo. The boy and girl kissing is from the store so I cut that out and used the negative. I love to do that and make a stencil. Then I painted it with black paint. The heart was designed in the silhouette software by me! That entire piece was cut out of vinyl and adhered right to the canvas background.
I had planned alot for this weekend. To do projects. Put together kits. However mother nature has came thru Connecticut and our plans have changed. Some like snow, even love snow. I think it's pretty but that's about all.

My first day of work is Monday - it's my first time working outside the home in 10 years since my oldest was born. I'm nervous and the blizzard hasn't helped much.

So with much anxiety about losing power (please, no!) I'm going to get my scrap on while I still can. I took this photo of our minivan from inside the doorway. I wasn't brave enough to go outside. The news says we have another 12+ hours of snowing so we'll see what we wake up to. I'm guessing our van will be non-visible by daybreak.

Hope everyone is staying warm and safe!

Us scrapbookers. We really know how to collect supplies don't we? I know I sure do! That's why I was so thrilled when I stumbled on these great deals at Michaels. Our stores in CT had an additional 90% off clearance items. These would have not been seen by me but a fabulous girl who works there (that I adore!) pointed them out to me as they were just getting marked! I need to remember to bring her a little treat when I go in, she is always so helpful!
